My Gypsy journey started as many do, my love for the breed. My first gypsy was a beautiful mare, Annabelle a.k.a. West Rivers Annabelle.  She was a dream come true, just three years old and not broke to ride, but I was told that she was 100% guaranteed pregnant with her first foal. As it turned out, Wylleen May with Steve Downs happened to have a location five minutes away from my sister's ranch in Acton, so we made the trip.  Initially, my sister Debbie and I had gone up to look at a gelding named Fergus, but since he had just recently been gelded, she thought he was too much for my needs. So we looked at the mares. There were two that we were interested in: Blue Bell, a beautiful blue roan, and Annabelle, who was black-and-white. They decided they didn't want to sell Blue Bell, so I bought Annabelle.

So the journey began.

Not long after getting Annabelle , she gave birth to her first foal, Patti Ann, named after my late mom. On November 14, 2015, I was blessed to buy my beloved stallion EW Collin of Brackenhill from my now dearest friend Sandra Adams, owner of Parker Palace Gypsy Farm in North Carolina. My precious Collin what is imported from James Taylor in the UK by Emerald Winds Farms owner Joanne Griffin. Joanne has probably forgotten more about the GYPSY history than most of us ever knew.  Over the years, my Gypsy family has grown, and we have produced some amazing foals.
